Our course on Women in Safety Leadership will focus on the strengths that women bring to safety leadership. Women in the safety profession see themselves as leaders. Carrillo & Associates launched a survey to determine if women saw themselves as leaders. The answer was YES!
We all know how important employee engagement is to safety performance. Women’s cultural upbringing and natural tendencies create a strong platform that makes us natural leaders in this arena. The collaborative seeks to partner with both corporate and non-profit organizations in an effort to nurture these strengths and have them recognized in the workplace.
The collaborative’s work transforms organizations by tapping into and unleashing the leadership of women in safety leadership. Through this work, organizations reduce accidents by developing an engaged and committed workforce that takes responsibility for safety 24/7. We teach the workforce how to create and maintain trust and open communication. Women are an under used resource that you can develop to achieve this goal.
